The apartment is beautifully decorated, very comfortable and spacious. The rooftop deck has a sofa, lounge chairs, table, and is a great place to sit and hang out, especially in the evenings. The
complex has a fun small swimming pool that gets some sun. The kitchen is fairly well appointed with cookware, has plenty of silverware and plates etc. There is a microwave and stove top, but no oven
or grill. A grill would be nice to make it easier to cook some of your own meals. There is a corner store very close for essentials, but plan on using the bikes or car to get to a larger grocery
store and the many excellent restaurants. We encountered a fluke problem with the water heater, but was resolved by the on site management and maintenance team. All in all, we had a great stay, and
the local contacts provided helped by offering info on tours, sights, etc.

This part of town is close to the main strip of Tulum and the beach zone. There were very nice restaurants near by and the ones recommended by the owners were exceptional. We enjoy the convenience of
being near everything but far enough that it is peaceful. We stayed for a month with our two children and brought a friend. The penthouse bedroom was perfect for our friend and we enjoyed outdoor
dining on the roof top terrace, swimming in the pool and bike riding around town. There are two local Cenote bike riding distance as well as the beach. The apartment was well cared for and clean. I
would definitely stay here again.

The apartment is amazing and so easy to find with (SENSITIVE CONTENTS HIDDEN) maps or by asking anyone in town where "Casa Chachalaca" is. The layout is great for privacy and the area "La Veleta" is
very quiet and affords you peace and a sense of serenity. The beaches are not far and Cobá ruins and other attractions are just a bus or car ride away! Hosts are amazing! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!

We came for our 25th anniversary, and felt so relaxed. The roof top terrace is awesome. The kitchen was well stocked, had everything we needed. We would recommend renting a car since it is a bit of
distance to the center of town. Great pool

Fantastic apartment with very responsive hosts. The villa has all facilities you would need and is in a convenient location removed from the maddening crowds but close to the beach and eating

Casa Colibri is done with a lot of taste and is located in a complex with a swimming pool and great neighbors. We enjoyed the location, the beaches, the restaurants and had a fantastic time in Tulum.
Driving distance from the apartment to the beaches is approx 10-15 mins. Casa Colibri has all amenities one needs for a long stay. And the hosts are just adorable!!! Highly recommended!

A few months ago whilst planning my wife's upcoming birthday, I asked her what she'd like to do, and where she'd like to go. To my surprise (and delight) she responded "let's go back to Tulum!"
Though we'd just had a two week stay at Casa Colibri in April/May of 2016, we were both excited to return in late November for another visit. Having felt a touch guilty about having such a spacious
condo all to ourselves the first time around, we had my wife's sister join us this time. Having her own suite with private entrance, ensuite, and a huge balcony meant that apart from getting together
for coffee in the morning, and drinks in the evening, we all had plenty of space and privacy. With the evening temperatures in November and December being very comfortable, we all enjoyed a drink or
two on the upper balcony as the sun set, and the moon and starlit sky took over - fantastic! This property has everything we needed for another great stay. Every room has an overhead fan, air
conditioning, and all the comforts of home. The design, and furnishing is both very modern and comfortable. Much to our surprise we arrived to a kitchen island loaded with birthday treats - candles,
balloons, streamers, snacks, and even some bubbly - thanks Diana! Everything from the location, space, design, and amenities (kitchen, living areas, decks, outdoor pool) is top notch and very
comfortable. The property is very well cared for, as not a day goes by where the grounds and swimming pool aren't being tended to. The suite itself is very tidy, and having the maid visit part way
through your stay is a great idea - she does a great job! All in all, another great stay!

The apartment was great, cozy, private and comfortable. The view was amazing and it is super spacious, in case you want to stay with a lot of people..
When we arrived, the place was totally cleaned, the beds prepared, cleaned towels, soap and shampoo and a welcome kid made our stay even more enjoyable.
Located in perfect spot of the city, is really convenient for everyone travelling, walking distance from stores, bars, restaurants, shops, etc. and there are a lot of cenotes in the area.
We went to a lot of places but is also nice staying in and relax enjoing the pool all day.
Ilaria was always available if needed and made our stay really easy.
Totally recommend the experience. :)

The photographs pretty much tell the story.
This is a very tastefully decorated, well appointed, and relaxing property.
The condo is located a few minutes from town in a most unassuming neighbourhood.
The property is very tidy and well maintained, yet does not feel fussy.
We were well taken care of from the moment we arrived (warm greeting and snacks - thank you!), to the time we departed - very professional, yet relaxed.
The pool was extremely refreshing, and we often had it to ourselves.
All in all a great stay in a well appointed condo.
We'd recommend having a rental car if you wish to frequent the local beaches, as they're a good ten or fifteen minutes drive. Parking was included!
The bicycles are a good option too!

Casa Colibri fue nuestro hogar la semana que estuvimos de vacaciones en Tulum. El departamento esta muy bien equipado y todo funciona a la perfección, desde los aires acondicionados hasta las
bicicletas pasando por el agua caliente, televisión, baños, etc. Todos los detalles de decoración son típicas de la zona maya y con muy buen gusto.
El departamento superior esta totalmente equipado para una pareja extra por lo que con seis personas se estaría utilizando en su totalidad.
Las atenciones de Ilaría fueron excelentes y no fué necesario molestarla para nada toda la semana. Es una lástima tener tan pocos días de vacaciones ya que no da tiempo para conocer todas las
maravillas cercanas a tulum.
Por nuestra parte solo nos queda agradecer a la organización de Casa Colibrí y recomendamos ámpliamente tomarla como la mejor opción sobre todo si están pensando viajar seis personas.
Por cierto fue muy agradable despertarse todos los días con la visita de un tucan tocando en nuestra ventana a las 7:30 de la mañana.

This was our first time to the Caribbean side of Mexico, we have been to Puerto Vallarta prior to Tulum many times. Tulum is considerably more laid back atmosphere, especially the beach, next to no
vendors a very welcome change. The beach is outstanding, best we have ever experienced, the sand is made from Coral and never gets hot, soft and white powder sand. The water temp and color of the
ocean with a very gentle slope and very little undertow makes for a non swimmer like me feel very safe. Loved the beach and town. Both have outstanding restaurants to chose from.
The condo is new, just a year old i believe. It is located in a developing area so the roads are rough and some construction in the area, so some noise during the day but none at night. Nice and
quiet at night for sleeping, you can however to expect the rooster next door to give you a wake up call every morning. For the two of us it was more space than we needed, but for a family or a small
group it would be fine. The roof top terrace is really nice. We found the beds to be very firm, but being new they need to get worked in, i was good after a few nights, depends upon what you are used
to.
We rented a car and would highly recommend it as the beach is a bit of a hike, in our younger years it would not have been an issue to bike to the beach, joys of getting older. A car also allows for
you to explore other areas as well. Lot to see and do.
The owners have done a great job with the decor and always responded our emails promptly and provided a great property manager who just happens to live next door and ideal setup.
We would and will be back to Tulum, loved it.

Nicely appointed brand new 3 bedroom 2bth Condo, 5 minute drive to the shops and restaurants. We enjoyed having our dinner on the Terrace over looking the jungle. We booked last minute and the owner
was extremely accommodating and helpful as was the on site manager. The manager also knows the area very well and can direct you to the best attractions.

We have stayed in Casa Calibry for 6 weeks and we enjoyed every minute of it. Diana is an amazing host, it's been a great pleasure communicating with her and no matter how many question we had before
and during our stay she always replied almost immediately. The Condo itself is even better then it looks on the pictures, it's super comfortable and you can tell right away that it's furnished and
decorated with love. We have stayed in many different apartments in different countries but this one was the only one where we felt like home:) The property manage Ilaria was great as well, she lives
right next door which made communication super easy.
We would definitely recommend this condo to everyone and are looking forward coming back.

The Casa Colibri is very nice, new apartment in new building in Tulum. It is at the end of Tulum and its a bit hard to find it, even with GPS. The road to the apartment is in bad shape. The apartment
is very well equipped and very clean. But there seems to be a problem with water in shower, because it smelled very bad.

Fantastic apartment with very responsive hosts. The villa has all facilities you would need and is in a convenient location removed from the maddening crowds but close to the beach and eating options. Would definitely stay again

Casa Colibri is done with a lot of taste and is located in a complex with a swimming pool and great neighbors. We enjoyed the location, the beaches, the restaurants and had a fantastic time in Tulum. Driving distance from the apartment to the beaches is approx 10-15 mins. Casa Colibri has all amenities one needs for a long stay. And the hosts are just adorable!!! Highly recommended!

The apartment is amazing and so easy to find with (SENSITIVE CONTENTS HIDDEN) maps or by asking anyone in town where "Casa Chachalaca" is. The layout is great for privacy and the area "La Veleta" is very quiet and affords you peace and a sense of serenity. The beaches are not far and Cobá ruins and other attractions are just a bus or car ride away! Hosts are amazing! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!

A few months ago whilst planning my wife's upcoming birthday, I asked her what she'd like to do, and where she'd like to go. To my surprise (and delight) she responded "let's go back to Tulum!" Though we'd just had a two week stay at Casa Colibri in April/May of 2016, we were both excited to return in late November for another visit. Having felt a touch guilty about having such a spacious condo all to ourselves the first time around, we had my wife's sister join us this time. Having her own suite with private entrance, ensuite, and a huge balcony meant that apart from getting together for coffee in the morning, and drinks in the evening, we all had plenty of space and privacy. With the evening temperatures in November and December being very comfortable, we all enjoyed a drink or two on the upper balcony as the sun set, and the moon and starlit sky took over - fantastic! This property has everything we needed for another great stay. Every room has an overhead fan, air conditioning, and all the comforts of home. The design, and furnishing is both very modern and comfortable. Much to our surprise we arrived to a kitchen island loaded with birthday treats - candles, balloons, streamers, snacks, and even some bubbly - thanks Diana! Everything from the location, space, design, and amenities (kitchen, living areas, decks, outdoor pool) is top notch and very comfortable. The property is very well cared for, as not a day goes by where the grounds and swimming pool aren't being tended to. The suite itself is very tidy, and having the maid visit part way through your stay is a great idea - she does a great job! All in all, another great stay!

The apartment was great, cozy, private and comfortable. The view was amazing and it is super spacious, in case you want to stay with a lot of people..
When we arrived, the place was totally cleaned, the beds prepared, cleaned towels, soap and shampoo and a welcome kid made our stay even more enjoyable.
Located in perfect spot of the city, is really convenient for everyone travelling, walking distance from stores, bars, restaurants, shops, etc. and there are a lot of cenotes in the area.
We went to a lot of places but is also nice staying in and relax enjoing the pool all day.
Ilaria was always available if needed and made our stay really easy.
Totally recommend the experience. :)

The photographs pretty much tell the story.
This is a very tastefully decorated, well appointed, and relaxing property.
The condo is located a few minutes from town in a most unassuming neighbourhood.
The property is very tidy and well maintained, yet does not feel fussy.
We were well taken care of from the moment we arrived (warm greeting and snacks - thank you!), to the time we departed - very professional, yet relaxed.
The pool was extremely refreshing, and we often had it to ourselves.
All in all a great stay in a well appointed condo.
We'd recommend having a rental car if you wish to frequent the local beaches, as they're a good ten or fifteen minutes drive. Parking was included!
The bicycles are a good option too!

Casa Colibri fue nuestro hogar la semana que estuvimos de vacaciones en Tulum. El departamento esta muy bien equipado y todo funciona a la perfección, desde los aires acondicionados hasta las bicicletas pasando por el agua caliente, televisión, baños, etc. Todos los detalles de decoración son típicas de la zona maya y con muy buen gusto.
El departamento superior esta totalmente equipado para una pareja extra por lo que con seis personas se estaría utilizando en su totalidad.
Las atenciones de Ilaría fueron excelentes y no fué necesario molestarla para nada toda la semana. Es una lástima tener tan pocos días de vacaciones ya que no da tiempo para conocer todas las maravillas cercanas a tulum.
Por nuestra parte solo nos queda agradecer a la organización de Casa Colibrí y recomendamos ámpliamente tomarla como la mejor opción sobre todo si están pensando viajar seis personas.
Por cierto fue muy agradable despertarse todos los días con la visita de un tucan tocando en nuestra ventana a las 7:30 de la mañana.

This was our first time to the Caribbean side of Mexico, we have been to Puerto Vallarta prior to Tulum many times. Tulum is considerably more laid back atmosphere, especially the beach, next to no vendors a very welcome change. The beach is outstanding, best we have ever experienced, the sand is made from Coral and never gets hot, soft and white powder sand. The water temp and color of the ocean with a very gentle slope and very little undertow makes for a non swimmer like me feel very safe. Loved the beach and town. Both have outstanding restaurants to chose from.
The condo is new, just a year old i believe. It is located in a developing area so the roads are rough and some construction in the area, so some noise during the day but none at night. Nice and quiet at night for sleeping, you can however to expect the rooster next door to give you a wake up call every morning. For the two of us it was more space than we needed, but for a family or a small group it would be fine. The roof top terrace is really nice. We found the beds to be very firm, but being new they need to get worked in, i was good after a few nights, depends upon what you are used to.
We rented a car and would highly recommend it as the beach is a bit of a hike, in our younger years it would not have been an issue to bike to the beach, joys of getting older. A car also allows for you to explore other areas as well. Lot to see and do.
The owners have done a great job with the decor and always responded our emails promptly and provided a great property manager who just happens to live next door and ideal setup.
We would and will be back to Tulum, loved it.

Nicely appointed brand new 3 bedroom 2bth Condo, 5 minute drive to the shops and restaurants. We enjoyed having our dinner on the Terrace over looking the jungle. We booked last minute and the owner was extremely accommodating and helpful as was the on site manager. The manager also knows the area very well and can direct you to the best attractions.

We have stayed in Casa Calibry for 6 weeks and we enjoyed every minute of it. Diana is an amazing host, it's been a great pleasure communicating with her and no matter how many question we had before and during our stay she always replied almost immediately. The Condo itself is even better then it looks on the pictures, it's super comfortable and you can tell right away that it's furnished and decorated with love. We have stayed in many different apartments in different countries but this one was the only one where we felt like home:) The property manage Ilaria was great as well, she lives right next door which made communication super easy.
We would definitely recommend this condo to everyone and are looking forward coming back.

The Casa Colibri is very nice, new apartment in new building in Tulum. It is at the end of Tulum and its a bit hard to find it, even with GPS. The road to the apartment is in bad shape. The apartment is very well equipped and very clean. But there seems to be a problem with water in shower, because it smelled very bad.

We had the most wonderful time in Tulum in December 14/January 15. The apartment itself is super nice and well equipped. It is located in a perfect, calm spot, close to Tulum's main road with all bars and restaurants, and not far from the beach (by car). Everything was perfectly arranged when we arrived!
